Marley Roofing - reducing emissions and savings cost. Terawatt installed a 200kWp Solar Installation with Generator Integration at Marley Roofing in Tongaat. The entire project took 2 weeks for the Panel Installation and a further week for the AC.Marley Roofing is based in Tongaat, and experienced frequent power outages, severely affecting production. The Solar Panels provide sufficient power to run their entire plant, providing an 80% offset in electricity costs. The generator starts up when the grid goes down, providing the required reference current for the solar system to continue power production. All in all, saving grid connection costs and fuel savings on the generator.
